Warren and Ronda Drake, originally from Franklin, North Carolina, serve as worship leaders at The Orchard, carrying a deep passion for authentic, Spirit-led worship and a desire to lead people into a genuine encounter with the presence of God. With many years of ministry experience, they have led worship across a variety of settings, including on the national television network TBN, where their heart for worship and ministry reached a broad audience. Ronda is known for her bold, expressive faith and was even referred to as “God’s Wildchild” during a live national broadcast, a reflection of her wholehearted and unreserved approach to worship. Warren brings a strong foundation of musical excellence, having been accepted into The Juilliard School, and uses that gifting to help create an atmosphere that is both excellent and deeply anointed.

Following the shutdown of 2020, Warren and Ronda partnered with Pastor Nathan to help launch The Well of Franklin, a ministry centered on creating a place where people could gather, worship, and find encouragement during a challenging season. These gatherings are hosted through their business, Sonny’s Music Lounge, which has become more than a venue, it is a consistent place for ministry, connection, and community. The Well of Franklin continues to meet every Thursday night for worship, providing an ongoing opportunity for people in the region to encounter God in a powerful and personal way.

Beyond their ministry leadership, Warren and Ronda are also dedicated business owners. Through Drake Ventures, their tax school and business, they equip and train individuals with practical skills while emphasizing integrity, stewardship, and a strong work ethic. Their ability to balance both ministry and marketplace influence allows them to reach people in meaningful ways, demonstrating that faith can impact every area of life.

As part of the church planting team at The Orchard, Warren and Ronda play a vital role in shaping the culture and sound of worship. Their heart is to cultivate an environment that is welcoming, Spirit-filled, and grounded in truth, where people from all backgrounds can come together, experience God’s presence, and be transformed.
